We’re committed to the principles of responsibility and sustainability in the sourcing of our own label fish. We aim to buy all our seafood products from responsibly managed fisheries and farms that have a minimal impact upon the wider marine environment. Our approach is based on continuous improvement and we want to offer independently certified products wherever possible.
Sustainable fishing means leaving enough fish in the ocean, respecting habitats and ensuring people who depend on fishing can maintain their livelihoods. Suppliers of Rumplers tunas and sardines must demonstrate a high level of traceability for all its fish and seafood.
Traceability, as well as providing food safety, helps to minimise the risk of illegally caught fish from our products.
